From August 15th to 21st, the Gràcia neighborhood transforms into a true festival of color, creativity, and tradition. Entire streets are decorated with stunning installations made by locals, each with a different theme: from marine worlds to futuristic landscapes. Added to this are open-air concerts, workshops, folk dances, and cuisine redolent of a Mediterranean summer.

The Gràcia Festival is one of Barcelona’s most beloved events, with a unique atmosphere that blends the local and the cosmopolitan. Start of the party

The festival kicks off with the traditional proclamation and the characteristic street decorations.

• August 17: Castellera Day (Castellers de Vilafranca, Xiquets de Reus, Castellers de Gràcia). The Guest of the Gegants of Gràcia with Geganters of Terrassa as guests.
• August 19: Gegantons Passage and awards ceremony for the decorated streets contest.
• August 20: Diada Castellera de Completes – Mike Lane.
• August 21: Cercavila Toca Dormir and children’s and adult correfocs.

A space to remember and honor the generations that have made this celebration great and the neighborhood’s historical memory.

• Guided tours of the Torre del Rellotge and the air-raid shelters in the Plaza del Diamant and Plaza de la Revolució.

Festigàbal 2025

On August 15th and 16th, starting at 8pm, Festigàbal will be held in the Jardines de la Sedeta (Carrer de Sicília, 321). This free festival, organized by the Heliogàbal venue, will feature performances by bands such as Lima Negra, Me & the Bees, Ciutat, Hadren, Maig, Killin’ Cactuz, Casero, CORTE!, and DJs such as Ryna and Coco.
